  • Monitor, analyze, and improve the performance, security, and functionality of the App.
  • Diagnose technical issues and provide customer support.
  • Communicate with you about updates, security notices, and support requests.
  • Comply with our legal obligations and enforce our terms of use.

4. Legal Basis for Processing (GDPR)

Where the GDPR applies, we rely on the following legal bases to process your personal data:

  • Performance of a contract: processing necessary to provide the App and its features to you under our terms of use.
  • Legitimate interests: processing necessary for our legitimate interests in securing, maintaining, diagnosing, and improving the App, provided those interests are not overridden by your rights.
  • Consent: where we ask for your consent (for example, for certain optional analytics or communications), you may withdraw that consent at any time.
  • Legal obligation: processing necessary to comply with applicable law.

5. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal data. We share personal data only in the following circumstances:

  • With your consent: where you have directed us to share information, such as by inviting a collaborator to shared content within the App.

6. International Data Transfers

Your data may be processed in countries outside the UK or European Economic Area (EEA), including where our cloud hosting providers operate servers. Where we transfer personal data internationally, we use appropriate safeguards required under GDPR, such as the UK International Data Transfer Agreement, the EU Standard Contractual Clauses, or transfers to jurisdictions recognized as providing an adequate level of protection.

7. Data Retention

We retain personal data only for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, including to provide the App, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Account information and user-generated content are retained for as long as your account remains active, and are deleted or anonymized within a reasonable period after account deletion, except where longer retention is required by law.

  • Provides an in-app mechanism to request deletion of your account and associated data.
  • Does not share personal data with third parties for their own advertising purposes.

A corresponding Data Safety form is maintained on the App's Google Play Store listing and is kept consistent with this Privacy Policy.

If you access any web-based features associated with NXTTHNG (such as a companion website or web dashboard), we may use cookies or similar technologies for authentication, security, and analytics purposes. Where required, we will request your consent for non-essential cookies through a cookie banner.
